Sometime last week (I was away, so I'm not sure) the Wii recieved a major update, and today, Nintendo sent out yet another update for the console. Here's the rundown on the contents.
Update 1:
- Wii Shop revamped
- Added ugly digital clock to main menu
- "Time played" memo is in white, not yellow
- Address book entries may be dragged around and organized
- Limited USB keyboard support
- Other cool stuff we haven't found yet
- Fixes errors in Internet channel

Yeah, I think I got that update for my Wii too. Do you know when/if the Wii Internet will be able to play videos and/or mp3s? That's one Wii feature I'd definitely like to see above others ^^
Well, you can *kind of* play videos and mp3s using the web browser right now, but other than that, I don't think there are any plans to allow that. However, you never know what new channels Nintendo might have up their sleeves. Video/music playing/sharing is a big part of social networking, a segment of the market they've been aiming for.
