I'm sorry this article is a little late, but better late than never. I've been a little preoccupied lately, and I hate to admit it, but I lost my password for a time. Without further adieau, Welcome to Dojo Day.
Trophies: Basically the trophies have returned from the previous game but with a couple of new, simple features.
Diddy Kong-Final Smash: Rocket Barrel Barrage is an attack where Diddy Kong flies around with his Rocket Barrel Boost, shooting his Peanut Popgun to shoot directly under him in a continuous barrage. Just like Diddy Kong’s original attack, the Rocket Barrel Boost explodes when time runs out and Diddy Kong can eat the discarded peanuts to restore health.
Mr. Resetti Basically, he’s an assist trophy that makes a text box appear and what he does best begins: he talks, talks, and talks some more. This isn’t that useful and I’m probably going to end up hating him in this game almost as much as I do in Animal Crossing.
Pokémon Trainer-Final Smash: Alright, Triple Finish is a move which uses all three Pokemon characters. Who would’ve thought that? The three Pokemon join forces and collect, while Squirtle uses Hydro Pump, Ivysaur does Solar Beam, and Charizard attacks with Fire Blast.
Tourney: Basically, Tournament mode from Melee with a bunch of new bonus features.
Overall, this week was not very interesting. The trophies return, yes those dreaded collective items are back! And tournament mode is back, which everyone probably assumed from the beginnning. To top that off, Mr. Resetti is a cool appearance in the game, but pretty useless in battle. However, we did get two new final smashes which on the scale, aren't very interesting.
Again, I apologize to both the audience and the staff for my late-ness and hopefully I will not be doing it again.
