Today, Kotaku broke the news of Peter Moore's now-confirmed resignation from head of Microsoft's games division. He has claimed that the decision was made in order to move his family back into the San Francisco Bay area. He was luckily able to find another gaming job in the area as head of Electronic Arts' EA Sports label. This comes just after John Riccitello reorganized EA into EA Games, EA Sports, EA Casual Games, and The Sims. We wish Peter good luck at his new job, and hope that he doesn't get in trouble for that Halo tattoo.
